Studium der Wirtschaftswissenschaften (insb. Wirtschaftsinformatik, Internationales Management und Marketing) an der Universität Hohenheim.

Seit 2008 Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Wirtschaftsinformatik der Universität Kassel und Direktor am Forschungszentrum für Informationstechnikgestaltung (ITEG) der Universität Kassel.

Zuvor:

Nach Auslandspraktika (u.a. in Lateinamerika) und diversen Tätigkeiten für u.a. DaimlerChrysler, IBM, Siemens Business Services und Debis Systemhaus von 01/2001 bis 09/2004 Tätigkeit als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsinformatik, Universität Hohenheim. Dort Akquise und Betreuung diverser aus Firmen-, Landes- und Bundesmitteln gefördete Forschungsprojekte.

Frühjahr 2004 (Spring Term) Visiting Researcher am Information Systems Department, University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Von 10/2004 -7/2008 Wissenschaftlicher Assistent und Forschungsgruppenleiter am Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsinformatik der Technischen Universität München.
